Duties and Responsibilities: The Proofreader will undertake a variety of tasks, including proofreading lengthy English texts for precision and quality, editing and formatting documents, verifying grammar and syntax, and ensuring adherence to guidelines. Responsibilities also include checking references and terminology, assisting supervisors with urgent tasks, consulting with colleagues on discrepancies, and ensuring all components of documents are accurately reflected. The role requires aligning bi-texts for translation memory production, converting texts into different formats, and training new staff.
