Job Overview:
The position of ICT Client Support and Administration is crucial for the organization as it involves providing advanced technical support and administration of Microsoft 365 services, identity management, and end-user services. The incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, managing user accounts, and ensuring the security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and compliance of ICT services. This role requires a proactive approach to service delivery, with a focus on user satisfaction and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively to enhance the organization's ICT capabilities, ensuring that all services are delivered effectively and securely.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ICT Client Support and Administration role include handling technical support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts and access controls, administering Microsoft 365 services, overseeing Azure Active Directory, conducting audits for financial systems, coordinating user onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining ICT asset inventory, creating technical documentation, delivering user training sessions, and identifying service improvement opportunities. The role also involves promoting a user-focused service culture and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise in Microsoft infrastructure and identity services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. They should possess analytical and troubleshooting skills, practical experience with PowerShell scripting, and familiarity with IT service management principles. Additionally, candidates should exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a strong client orientation, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Background:
A secondary education to university entrance standard is essential for this position. Supplementary training or certifications in relevant areas such as Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Service Management are desirable and will enhance a candidate's qualifications.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in providing technical and administrative support within an enterprise or international ICT environment. This includes experience in administering Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting users during meetings and conferences. Experience with ICT service management platforms like ServiceNow is also desirable.

Languages:
Proficiency in English, both oral and written, is essential for this role. Knowledge of another official UN language is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's application.

Additional Notes:
The position is limited to local status, requiring applicants to have permission to live and work in the UK. The first year of the contract will be probationary, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The salary for this position is approximately £48,722 net per annum, free of income tax in the UK, and includes excellent benefits such as medical insurance and participation in the UN pension scheme.
