Job Overview: The Technical Associate position is situated within the Resource Mobilization and Partnerships unit of the Division of Programme Management at WHO/Europe. This role is pivotal in providing specialized administrative support and advice to staff regarding resource mobilization processes and tools. The Technical Associate will act as the key administrative resource for the Contributor Engagement Management (CEM) system, which is utilized across WHO/Europe. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective program management, financial operations, and communication with technical programs and staff. The Technical Associate will also be responsible for organizing training sessions, maintaining information repositories, and facilitating the preparation of funding proposals and agreements, thereby playing a crucial role in enhancing WHO's resource mobilization efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Technical Associate will undertake a variety of duties, including but not limited to: acting as a superuser of the CEM system, providing guidance on resource mobilization practices, organizing training for WHO staff, maintaining documentation and monitoring tools, conducting reviews of funding proposals, liaising with relevant units at WHO headquarters, preparing correspondence and reports, managing workplans, and providing logistical support for meetings. The role also involves responding to inquiries, coordinating appointments, and performing other related duties as assigned. The Technical Associate will ensure that all administrative processes are executed efficiently and in accordance with WHO standards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work. They should demonstrate interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment. Experience: Candidates should have at least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative or office support roles, with several years of experience in an international environment or institution. Languages: Expert knowledge of English is essential for this position. Additional Notes: The position offers an attractive remuneration package, with an annual net base salary starting at DKK 409,328, subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance. The role includes 30 days of annual leave. Special consideration will be given to staff members separated due to the 2025 Prioritization and Realignment Process. The vacancy may also be used to fill other similar positions at the same grade level.
