Job Overview: The Program Officer position is integral to the GEF Secretariat, which functions as a Vice-Presidential Unit within the World Bank. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, organization, and execution of significant events, including Council Meetings, the GEF Assembly, and replenishment meetings. This role demands a professional with a proven track record in international event coordination, strong diplomatic skills, and experience in high-level engagements. Duties and Responsibilities: The Program Officer will oversee the Events Team, coordinating all aspects of international event planning and execution. The officer will develop travel guidelines in accordance with World Bank policies, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
