Duties and Responsibilities: As a Young Professional in the Systems and Infrastructure Management (ITSIN) unit, you will be responsible for supporting the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and modernization of enterprise Windows Server environments across various platforms. Your duties will include assisting with Active Directory administration, participating in operating system deployment, patch management, and vulnerability remediation. You will also support VMware virtualization platforms, contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives, and develop PowerShell scripts to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will engage in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives, participate in security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security assessments and compliance reviews, and explore emerging technologies to improve infrastructure operations. Your role will require collaboration with various teams to ensure secure and resilient infrastructure services for the World Bank Group.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of a master’s degree in computer and science engineering. Additionally, 2-6 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure engineering is required. Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, VMware virtualization, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Experience with scripting and automation technologies is also necessary, along with a solid understanding of disaster recovery, backup, monitoring, and infrastructure resiliency concepts. Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in development work and the mission of the World Bank Group, along with strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments.
