Job Overview:
The FAO Facilitator position is a full-time role based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The primary responsibility of the Facilitator is to ensure accurate data collection and verification of beneficiaries, as well as coordination of distribution efforts in the regions of Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Kherson. The Facilitator will work closely with local authorities, community leaders, and FAO teams to implement programs aimed at assisting rural households affected by the remnants of war. This role requires strong engagement with stakeholders and the ability to manage distribution events while ensuring compliance with FAO protocols. The Facilitator will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of assistance provided to beneficiaries, ensuring accountability and adherence to FAO's standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the FAO Facilitator include:

• Data collection and beneficiary verification: Participate in preparing KOBO Registration Forms for beneficiary data collection, identify local authorities’ focal points, train them on KOBO usage, conduct household identification with local authorities, oversee beneficiary registration, and maintain accurate records.
• Stakeholder engagement: Organize meetings in prioritized settlements to inform beneficiaries about selection criteria and distribution schedules, and coordinate with partners operating in the Kharkiv region.
• Coordination and distribution management: Oversee distribution events ensuring fairness and compliance with FAO protocols.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Conduct post-distribution monitoring, document irregularities, and provide updates to supervisors.
• Accountability: Implement FAO’s Accountability to Affected Population principles, ensure beneficiaries understand their rights, and report any ethical concerns.
• Administrative and logistics: Monitor information databases, support travel authorization requests, and coordinate logistical arrangements for project activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Social Sciences, Law, Economics, or a relevant field. They should have at least one year of relevant experience in partnerships and facilitating training activities. A working knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian at level C and limited knowledge of English at level B is required. Candidates must be nationals of Ukraine.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Law, or Economics. The degree must be obtained from an institution accredited or recognized in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).

Experience:
The position requires at least one year of relevant experience in partnerships and facilitating training activities. Experience working with diverse and multicultural groups, particularly in humanitarian or development contexts, is highly valued.

Languages:
Mandatory languages for this position include Russian and Ukrainian, with a working knowledge required at level C. Limited knowledge of English at level B is also necessary. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset.
