Job Overview:
As a Chief of Product Line at NCIA, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring product excellence within the organization. This senior leadership position requires a strategic mindset, as you will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept development to delivery and optimization. You will be responsible for aligning stakeholders, making investment decisions, and ensuring that products provide measurable value to NATO customers. The role encompasses three specific product lines: Collaboration and Workplace, Digital Backbone, and Missions and Operations, each focusing on different aspects of NATO's operational capabilities. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a customer-centric culture and promoting product-oriented methodologies across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will embody the NCIA culture principles of Customer First, Together, and Impact. Your responsibilities will include leading a multicultural and multidisciplinary team, ensuring that products deliver measurable outcomes, and acting as the Executive for assigned products. You will define product vision and strategic direction, balancing customer value with operational sustainability and risk management. Additionally, you will drive alignment across various departments, lead the adoption of product-oriented practices, and represent NCIA in governance forums. Your role will also involve identifying barriers to product value realization and leading organizational transformation initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience in a complex technical or business environment. A proven track record of leading change in dynamic organizations is essential, along with experience in managing high-performing teams and complex product portfolios. Candidates should demonstrate success in managing products throughout their lifecycle and have the ability to align diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with key technology domains, modern product management frameworks, and experience in leading organizational transformation are also required.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree in a relevant field is required for candidates with 10 years of experience, while a Bachelor's degree is necessary for those with 15 years of experience. The educational background should be aligned with the technical and business aspects of the role, ensuring that candidates have a solid foundation to lead product strategy and execution effectively.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant field if holding a Master's degree, or 15 years if holding a Bachelor's degree. This experience should include leadership roles in complex technical or business environments, with a focus on managing change and leading teams through significant organizational transformations. Proven experience in product management and strategy is crucial, particularly in areas related to communications, networks, and operational systems.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the working language of NATO. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those of NATO member countries, would be considered an asset and beneficial for collaboration within the organization.

Additional Notes:
The position offers an initial five-year contract with a competitive tax-free salary, along with household and children's allowances. Expatriate staff will receive privileges such as expatriation and education allowances, as well as additional home leave.
