Job Overview:
The Assistant position at EBRD is designed to provide essential administrative support to the banking staff, ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves a variety of tasks, including managing travel arrangements, providing secretarial assistance, and supporting project preparation activities. The Assistant will be responsible for maintaining communication with various stakeholders, organizing meetings, and ensuring that all administrative processes are handled with professionalism and attention to detail. The position requires a proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. The Assistant will also play a key role in maintaining the filing system and updating project databases, contributing to the overall success of the banking division.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: screening telephone calls and taking messages, distributing mail, managing diaries for bankers, proofreading and drafting business correspondence, organizing conference calls and meetings, making travel arrangements, providing administrative support in project preparation and due diligence, maintaining filing systems, assisting in the organization of workshops and seminars, and handling ad-hoc secretarial tasks as required. The role may also involve liaising with external parties, processing legal documentation, and managing petty cash payments. The Assistant will need to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Assistant position must possess a higher education degree and demonstrate fluency in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Essential qualifications include prior secretarial and administrative experience, strong organizational abilities, a proactive and flexible work attitude, and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
