Job Overview: The Associate Banker position is integral to the EBRD's mission, contributing to all phases of the project cycle, which includes project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. Duties and Responsibilities: The Associate Banker will be responsible for several key tasks under the guidance of the operation leader or a more senior banker. These include:
Structuring and Execution: Collaborating as a project team member on transactions, contributing to all aspects of project structuring and execution, and working with client counterparts and consultants to advance projects.
Due Diligence: Leading the scope and quality of project due diligence, ensuring compliance with financial, market, integrity, and EBRD policies.
Documentation: Preparing internal project documentation such as approval project memoranda, financial models, draft term sheets, and presentations.
Technical Cooperation: Designing and processing technical cooperation assistance, ensuring alignment with investment project approval schedules.
Portfolio Monitoring: Implementing and monitoring projects, ensuring compliance with agreements and procedures, and preparing comprehensive monitoring reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Business Development: Assisting with marketing and business development efforts as required. The Associate Banker will also provide guidance to junior team members and may take on increased responsibilities as they gain experience.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant areas.
