Job Overview:
This position is designed for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration at the FOM Frankfurt/Main, with a focus on financial management and controlling. The program spans from August 1, 2027, to August 31, 2030, and combines academic studies with practical training at GIZ. Students will gain hands-on experience in various areas such as financial management, procurement, contract management, and project management. The program is structured to culminate in an internationally recognized Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, achieved through a combination of theoretical coursework and practical application in the workplace. Students will alternate between academic semesters and practical training every three months, providing a comprehensive learning experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the program, students will engage in a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to: participating in financial management activities, assisting in human resources and social affairs, engaging in procurement processes, managing contracts, and supporting project management in regional departments. Additionally, students will undertake a three-month assignment in one of GIZ's offices to gain firsthand experience of project work on the ground. The location of this assignment will be determined in accordance with the guidelines set by GIZ's corporate security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security and medical services departments.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess either a general higher education entrance qualification (Allgemeine Hochschulreife) or a specialized higher education entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) with a focus on economics. A strong interest in a practical business administration program is essential, along with excellent numerical understanding and analytical thinking skills. Good performance in mathematics is crucial, and candidates should demonstrate curiosity about working in an international environment.
