The role involves participating in both frontend and backend development of the REANA platform, which is designed for reproducible computational data analyses. The developer will work closely with physicists to enhance reusable computational data analysis practices in experiments, manage service deployment and operations on the Kubernetes cloud, and collaborate with external institutes and partners focused on open science infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Fullstack Software Developer include:

• Engaging in the development of the REANA platform, focusing on both frontend and backend components.
• Collaborating with physicists to understand their needs and provide effective solutions for computational data analysis.
• Managing the deployment and operational aspects of services on the Kubernetes cloud, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Working with external partners to enhance the capabilities of the REANA platform and promote open science practices.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality software standards.
• Staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development and data analysis.
• Providing support and training to users of the REANA platform as needed.
• Contributing to the overall mission of CERN by participating in team meetings and collaborative projects.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in full-stack software development, with proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies. Familiarity with container technologies, application deployment, monitoring, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security is essential. A basic understanding of computational research data analyses is considered a plus. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Educational Background:
Applicants are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates must have graduated within the last two years and should not have held a CERN fellow or graduate contract previously. Those without a university degree or with a PhD are not eligible for this position.

Experience:
The position requires a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation. This experience should be relevant to software development and should demonstrate the candidate's ability to work effectively in a technical environment.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory, as it is the working language at CERN. Candidates should also be committed to learning French, which is beneficial for integration into the local community and workplace.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time role with a contract duration of 24 months, with the possibility of extension up to 36 months. The working hours are set at 40 hours per week, and the job offers hybrid flexibility. The target start date for this position is November 1, 202

• The role may require stand-by duty and work during nights, Sundays, and official holidays as needed by the organization. Compensation includes a monthly net stipend ranging from 5266 to 5793 Swiss Francs, depending on the candidate's degree, along with 30 days of paid leave per year, comprehensive health insurance, and various allowances based on individual circumstances.
