Job Overview:
The National Certified Executive Coach will play a pivotal role in the Academy for Women in Public Leadership, which aims to empower women in leadership roles within the government and public sectors. This position involves designing and delivering an executive coaching program tailored to women MPs, senior and middle-level government officials, and mayors. The coach will focus on enhancing participants' leadership skills, self-awareness, and resilience, enabling them to navigate the challenges of public life effectively. The role requires collaboration with UN Women teams and adherence to international coaching standards, ensuring that the coaching framework is robust and impactful.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for designing the executive coaching framework and methodology, ensuring alignment with International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards. Key responsibilities include conducting individual coaching sessions for up to 30 participants, facilitating group coaching sessions to promote peer learning, and developing a comprehensive final report summarizing the coaching outcomes and recommendations. The consultant will also be expected to create intake and goal-setting instruments, coaching agreements, and progress-tracking tools, ensuring a structured approach to the coaching process. The tasks may evolve based on specific service requests from UN Women during the contract period.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or Organizational Development. A professional coaching certification from recognized bodies like the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at PCC or MCC level is mandatory. Additional qualifications may include executive coaching training from accredited institutions. The role demands a strong understanding of leadership dynamics and coaching methodologies, particularly in the context of women's empowerment and gender equality.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required. In cases where candidates hold a first-level university degree, they must have two additional years of qualifying experience to be considered. Professional coaching certification is essential, and training from a recognized business school or coaching program is highly desirable.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience, including senior leadership roles in international organizations or public institutions. Experience in strengths-based and holistic coaching approaches is crucial, along with a proven track record in developing female leadership programs. At least 3 years of experience in executive coaching for high-level decision-makers is preferred, and familiarity with multicultural environments and international organizations is advantageous.

Languages:
Fluency in Romanian and English is required for this position. Knowledge of any other UN official language is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

Additional Notes:
This consultancy is home-based, with the expectation that the consultant will be present in Chisinau for training sessions and related activities. The contract duration is initially set for 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. Compensation will be on a per-day basis, contingent upon satisfactory completion of services and deliverables. UN Women will handle logistics and participant coordination, while the consultant will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching services.
