Job Overview: The Head Teller at the FAO Credit Union plays a crucial role in coordinating and performing a comprehensive range of functions that support the activities of the Credit Union. The Head Teller will also oversee other front-office operations, such as deposits, account templates, account certificates, and various requests. Additionally, the incumbent will coordinate and oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly procedures, liaise with the Human Resources Division and members regarding member accounts, ensure proper archiving of member correspondence and daily transactions, and monitor and update members' records concerning personnel actions. The Head Teller may also be required to perform other related duties as necessary to support the CU's operations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a secondary school education and have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in finance and budget-related support work. A working knowledge (proficiency - level C) of English is mandatory, along with good knowledge of MS Office applications, internet, and office technology equipment. Candidates must also be nationals of the country of the duty station or possess a valid visa or work permit to reside within commuting distance of the duty station at the time of application.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position is a secondary school education. This foundational education is essential for understanding the basic principles of finance and customer service, which are critical for the role of Head Teller in the FAO Credit Union.
