Job Overview:
The HRMOI Org & security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security Analyst (Consultant) position at WFP is integral to the HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI), which serves as the digital backbone of HR operations. This role focuses on enhancing the integrity, governance, and alignment of Workday organizational data and security configurations. The consultant will be responsible for delivering measurable improvements in data quality, system consistency, and access control compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workday implementation and a solid understanding of HR business processes, enabling effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. The position is expected to contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HR Division’s technology strategy and roadmap, supporting integrated talent management and ensuring visibility and integrity of the global workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be accountable for several key responsibilities, including:
  • Organization Data Cleansing & Alignment: Deliver validated and reconciled organizational datasets in Workday, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with governance standards. Produce harmonized organizational and position data across Workday and WINGS, ensuring alignment between Global HQ and Country Office structures. Execute and document end-to-end mass data maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy and traceability. Strengthen data governance controls and deliver improvements in validation rules and data quality standards.
  • Workday Security Configuration: Support the delivery of aligned and compliant Workday security configurations, including role-based and user-based security groups. Contribute to access review cycles and support audit readiness and compliance. Assess and mitigate risks associated with organizational changes and support security testing activities. Ensure synchronization between organizational structures and security frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Finance. Alternatively, a first-level university degree with additional relevant work experience is acceptable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or IT is required, with hands-on experience working with HR systems, preferably Workday. Candidates should have exposure to HR digital transformation projects and proven experience in organizational structure and position management within complex organizations. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Finance. A first-level university degree may be accepted if accompanied by additional relevant work experience. This educational foundation is crucial for understanding the technical and analytical aspects of the role, particularly in relation to HR systems and data management.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or IT. Candidates should have hands-on experience with HR systems, particularly Workday, and should be familiar with configuration, data management, and process improvement. Experience in HR digital transformation projects and organizational structure management is highly desirable, as is a background in data analysis and management.

Languages:
Fluency in oral and written English is mandatory, along with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language, which may include Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, or Portuguese. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's suitability for the role.
