Job Overview:
The Associate Developer - Frontend position is designed for a passionate Angular developer who is eager to take ownership of complex front-end solutions in a modern, fast-paced tech environment. This role provides the autonomy to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable and performant applications using Angular, TypeScript, and micro frontend architecture. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Developer - Frontend include:
  • Software Design and Development: Enable the design, development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions using Angular and Strong Typescript, operating without supervision. Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code. Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications. Make confident decisions and contribute to the implementation of designs produced by the UX/UI team.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for Angular development. Write unit and integration tests using frameworks to ensure code quality. Manage complexity holistically by implementing automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure the reliability and performance of front-end solutions. Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability are met. Follow guidelines to maintain a consistent and high-quality user experience across all front-end applications.
  • Operations, Maintenance, Support, and Documentation: Participate in the deployment and release processes, ensuring smooth rollouts of new features. Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and provide timely resolutions. Maintain clear documentation of code and processes specific to Angular projects. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for front-end solutions. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development and UX/UI teams.
  • Data and Architecture: Assist in defining scalable system architectures and patterns for front-end development. Contribute to architectural decisions that align with organizational needs. Understand the bigger picture and support the overall system design. Evaluate and recommend best practices for integrating Angular with external systems and third-party services.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Associate Developer - Frontend position include:
  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular, including state management (e.g., NgRx).
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC, software design principles, and architectural patterns.
  • Strong experience with unit testing (Jasmine/Karma) and E2E testing (Cypress).
  • Deep understanding of CSS preprocessors (Sass) and responsive design best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with micro frontend architecture and module federation.
  • Proficiency in Git, branching strategies, and code review processes.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL clients.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuring automated build tools. 1
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure). 1
  • Ability to optimize frontend performance and implement security best practices. 1
