Job Overview:
The UNHCR PSP IG Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the Face-to-Face (F2F) Agency Programs, which are vital for the fundraising efforts of UNHCR Korea. This position is designed to enhance the effectiveness of the F2F program, which is the largest acquisition channel for the organization in Korea. The assistant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining productive relationships with outsourced agencies that provide F2F fundraising services. The role requires a proactive approach to identify new growth opportunities for the F2F Agency Program, ensuring that it meets its targets and adheres to UNHCR's standards and regulations. The assistant will also contribute to the development of fundraising materials and support the overall Private Sector Partnerships work of UNHCR.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the UNHCR PSP IG Assistant include:
  • Managing Face-to-Face Agency Programs by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with agencies, ensuring compliance with UNHCR rules, and achieving fundraising targets.
  • Monitoring budgets and key performance indicators for the F2F programs, overseeing campaign costs, and processing invoices.
  • Providing regular training to F2F Agency Fundraisers on UNHCR issues and fundraising campaigns, ensuring they represent the organization professionally.
  • Contributing to the development of effective fundraising materials and campaign content.
  • Assisting in procurement processes for F2F activities, including preparing RFQs or RFPs and managing equipment and supplies for the programs.
  • Supporting the Private Sector Partnerships team in various capacities and performing other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the UNHCR PSP IG Assistant position include:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Korean and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with agencies and team members.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills to assess program needs and performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and learn new systems quickly.
  • A strong interest in humanitarian activities or international organizations is preferred.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have completed a high school diploma or possess a university degree in fields such as Business, Economics, Marketing, Communication, or International Development. A higher educational qualification may substitute for work experience requirements.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience for candidates with a high school diploma, or no experience required for those with a bachelor's degree or higher. This flexibility allows for a range of applicants, from recent graduates to those with more extensive backgrounds in relevant fields.

Languages:
