Job Overview:
The position of Référent.e Technique Protection & Redevabilité involves providing technical and methodological support to country offices under the supervision of the Head of Expertise & Quality of Programs. The role includes developing sectoral expertise, actively monitoring protection and accountability issues, and disseminating intervention frameworks for these sectors. The incumbent will ensure the quality and relevance of proposed approaches and align projects with the organization's general objectives and the needs of populations affected by crises. The role also includes enhancing the technical and methodological skills of Solidarités International, supporting the transversal development of protection within the organization, and integrating operational missions through needs assessments, project evaluations, and training of field operational teams. The Référent.e will serve as the Protection reference at headquarters and provide technical and methodological support to a portfolio of approximately 25 countries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accompanying and supporting country offices (60%): - Provide technical and methodological support (45%) to country offices from headquarters and during field missions. - Strengthen technical skills and capacities (10%) of the teams. - Ensure accountability and control (5%) in the implementation of protection and accountability measures.
• Structuring technical expertise (25%): - Develop, update, and disseminate expertise (20%) related to protection and accountability. - Foster partnerships and enhance the organization's reputation (5%) in the field of protection and accountability.
• Internal coordination (15%): - Collaborate with technical coordinators and desks to ensure cohesive support across the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess degrees in law" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">International Law, Humanitarian Law, International Development, Social Work, or similar fields. A strong field experience in Protection and Accountability is required, with a specialization in PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), integration of protection, and training of field teams. A minimum of 5 years of experience in humanitarian missions focused on Protection and Accountability projects or programs is essential, including at least two years in coordinator or technical reference positions. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to define and implement tools and methodologies, possess a good understanding of vulnerability diagnostics, risk identification, and have knowledge of protection analysis frameworks, gender analysis, VBG (Violence Based Gender), and PSEAH. Strong writing and oral communication skills in both English and French are mandatory.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes degrees in relevant fields such as International Law, Humanitarian Law, International Development, or Social Work. Candidates should have a strong academic foundation that supports their understanding of humanitarian principles and practices, particularly in the areas of protection and accountability.

Experience:
The position requires a significant level of experience, specifically a minimum of 5 years in humanitarian missions, with a focus on Protection and Accountability. Candidates should have held roles that involved direct coordination or technical reference responsibilities, demonstrating their capability to manage complex projects and lead teams effectively in challenging environments.

Languages:
Fluency in both French and English is mandatory, with strong written and oral communication skills in both languages. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required for this position.

Additional Notes:
The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy la Garenne, with potential travel to intervention countries. The contract is a fixed-term replacement contract, with a gross monthly salary ranging from €3,183 to €3,316, depending on the current salary scale at headquarters. There are options for teleworking, allowing for 4 to 12 days per month or 100% remote work within metropolitan France, subject to the telework charter and supervisor approval. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 vacation days per month and 1 RTT (reduction of working time) day for each full month worked. The organization provides health insurance coverage (80%), meal vouchers (60%), and transportation subsidies (50%) for Île de France. Additional benefits include coverage for travel-related insurance during field missions and one recovery day for each weekend spent on field visits.
