Job Overview:
The Analyst, G&EI position is integral to the Gender and Economic Inclusion (G&EI) team, which focuses on enhancing access to skills, employment, finance, and services for underserved communities. The role primarily supports the Strategy and Results management pillar by providing operational assistance for the implementation of Technical Cooperation (TC) activities under the InvestEU Social Investment and Skills Window (SISW). The Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of TC assignments by managing procurement processes, engaging consultants, administering contracts, and tracking implementation progress. This position requires strong organizational skills to maintain schedules, monitor project milestones, and facilitate communication among various stakeholders, including project teams, donors, and Bank departments. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining TC portfolio management tools and preparing reports for monitoring and donor engagement, thereby contributing to the overall success of the G&EI portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: supporting donor engagement and visibility activities for the InvestEU SISW Programme; preparing and coordinating quarterly updates and donor communications materials; managing technical cooperation activities by coordinating operational processes and documentation; assisting in procurement and contracting processes for TC assignments; tracking milestones, deliverables, and budgets; maintaining and updating portfolio tracking systems; compiling and analyzing datasets for reporting and decision-making; streamlining operational procedures and improving documentation systems; preparing presentations and materials for meetings and external events; and providing general operational and administrative support to the team as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, international development, business administration, public policy, or a related field from a recognized university. Relevant professional experience in donor-funded programs, project coordination, procurement support, or portfolio management is essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are critical, along with experience in maintaining tracking systems and databases. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English, and proficiency in standard office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively across teams are also required. Experience with InvestEU Programme activities or technical cooperation processes is advantageous.

Educational Background:
The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, international development, business administration, or public policy. Candidates should have graduated from a leading university, demonstrating a strong academic background that aligns with the responsibilities of the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have relevant professional experience in areas such as donor-funded programs, operations, project coordination, procurement support, or portfolio management. Experience in managing multiple processes and deadlines simultaneously is crucial, as is familiarity with tracking systems and operational management tools. Candidates with experience supporting InvestEU Programme activities or technical cooperation processes will have an advantage in the selection process.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills required for drafting reports and donor-facing materials. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not explicitly required for this position.
