Job Overview: The Director of People and Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's human resources strategy. This position is responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote a positive workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance. The Director will work closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with the overall business strategy, ensuring that the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction, including surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Oversee talent acquisition processes to ensure the organization attracts a diverse pool of candidates.
Design and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and career advancement.
Manage performance management systems to ensure effective evaluation and feedback processes.
Collaborate with leadership to create a culture of inclusivity and respect within the workplace.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and manage employee relations issues effectively.
Monitor HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a multicultural environment.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive organizational development initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A master's degree or professional HR certification (such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR) is highly desirable and will be considered an asset.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in international or cross-cultural settings is preferred, as well as a track record of successfully implementing HR strategies that drive organizational performance.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Korean or other languages is considered a plus and will enhance communication within the organization.
Additional Notes: This is a full-time position based in Incheon, South Korea.
