Job Overview: As a Reward Specialist at ADB, you will play a crucial role in managing and leading the HR Services team, which is responsible for overseeing employee lifecycle processes. This includes managing the onboarding of new staff, the relocation of current staff, and the offboarding of employees leaving ADB. You will ensure that reward and HR policies are effectively managed and that the HR Service Desk team addresses staff queries efficiently. Your contributions will extend to broader HR and business initiatives, particularly in reward-related aspects. You will be tasked with ensuring that exceptions to policies are consistently applied, requiring collaboration with the Reward Policy team and other HR colleagues. This position is vital for maintaining high service levels and ensuring that all HR processes are executed accurately and efficiently, thereby supporting ADB's mission to foster prosperity in Asia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the Employee Lifecycle team in managing processes related to onboarding, relocation, and offboarding of staff.
Oversee the provision of staff certifications, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Ensure clear and complete communication to staff regarding employee lifecycle processes.
Liaise with the Reward Policy team to review and assess exceptions to policies.
Manage the HR Service Desk team to effectively respond to staff queries.
Develop and improve the HR Service Desk to enhance service levels, including digitization of HR records.
Supervise the performance of team members, providing direction and feedback.
Handle complex policy-related questions and problems from clients and colleagues.
Lead projects related to enhancements of systems and tools supporting employee lifecycle processes.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in Business or Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Economics, Social Sciences, or related fields, preferably at the post-graduate level or its equivalent. Additionally, a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in various facets of human resource management is required, with international experience in several countries, ideally within international development finance institutions or multinational organizations. Candidates should preferably be affiliated with recognized professional HR associations such as CIPD, IPMA, or ASTD.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in relevant fields such as Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Economics, or Social Sciences. A post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise and understanding of the complexities involved in human resource management.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in human resource management, with a strong emphasis on international experience. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in various countries, particularly in international development finance institutions or multinational organizations, which will provide them with the necessary skills to navigate the complexities of HR in a diverse and global environment.
