Job Overview:
The Product Line Manager for ERP will play a crucial role within the Digital Transformation Department (DTD) of the IFRC, which is responsible for implementing the digital transformation strategy across its 191 National Society members. This position involves managing the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), which serves as a core platform for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires the development of a comprehensive product vision and roadmap that aligns with the IFRC's strategic priorities, including the Agenda for Renewal and the Digital Transformation strategy. The Product Line Manager will lead a diverse team of up to 30 direct and dual reports, ensuring that the ERP system meets the evolving needs of the organization while driving innovation and agility. The position also entails fostering collaboration across various departments and geographic locations to optimize the use of resources and enhance the overall performance of the ERP system.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Product Line Manager ERP include defining and evolving the product vision and strategy, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the integration and interoperability of the ERP system with other applications. The manager will conduct continuous product discovery through user research and data analysis to identify unmet needs and improvement opportunities. Additionally, the role involves leading a team, ensuring adherence to human-centered design principles, and managing technical debt. The manager will also oversee governance processes, stakeholder management, and change management initiatives to facilitate the ongoing evolution of the ERP system. Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Product Line Manager ERP position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with relevant experience in managing organization-wide ERP products. ITIL certification (Foundation or above) or a recognized agile/product certification is required. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and collaboration abilities, and a proven track record in managing large teams within a matrix-based organization. Familiarity with human-centered design principles and experience in adopting digital product lifecycle methodologies are also essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates should also have relevant certifications, such as ITIL or agile/product management certifications, to demonstrate their expertise in managing ERP systems and digital transformation initiatives.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in ERP operation support, specifically with Microsoft D36
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large teams in a matrix-based organization is essential, along with at least 5 years of experience in product management. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the rollout, maintenance, upgrades, and customizations of ERP systems, as well as experience in contract and supplier management.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this position. A good command of another IFRC official language, such as French, Spanish, or Arabic, is preferred and would be considered an asset in facilitating communication within the organization and with external stakeholders.
