Job Overview:
The Senior Videographer/Photographer will play a crucial role in providing high-quality videography and photography support to capture the impact of FAO’s regional initiatives. This position involves comprehensive media coverage for the 2026 Pacific SIDS Solutions Forum, requiring the incumbent to manage end-to-end video production, archival research, field-story capture, high-level event photography, and rapid media delivery. The role demands creativity in conceptualizing and producing video content that aligns with FAO's strategic frameworks, ensuring that the narratives reflect the organization's mission and objectives. The incumbent will also be responsible for producing short-form social media content optimized for various digital platforms, thus enhancing FAO's visibility and outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Videographer/Photographer will undertake a variety of tasks including: preparing a detailed production workplan that outlines shot lists, interview lists, field filming plans, and production calendars; conceptualizing, scripting, and producing high-quality video products that align with FAO's strategic frameworks; conducting archival research and managing post-production editing; capturing interviews and soundbites from various stakeholders; producing short-form social media content; serving as the dedicated photographer/videographer for high-level events; maintaining a continuous presence at the Forum venue to ensure comprehensive coverage; providing rapid editing and delivery of priority photos; undertaking field missions to capture human-interest stories; ensuring informed consent is obtained for identifiable individuals; maintaining a structured archive of all media assets; and ensuring compliance with FAO technical and branding standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Photography, Videography, Multimedia Production, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in photography, videography, multimedia content production, and visual storytelling is required. A working knowledge of English at Level C is also essential. Candidates should demonstrate efficiency, competence, integrity, and possess strong negotiating skills, tact, and diplomacy. They must be able to work effectively with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural project partners at both regional and international levels, showcasing excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Educational Background:
