Job Overview: The Integration Services Lead will play a pivotal role in WFP's strategic digital transformation initiative, which aims to modernize and integrate its corporate digital solutions ecosystem. This position is crucial for ensuring that WFP’s digital solutions are interconnected in a coherent and interoperable manner. The Integration Services Lead will be responsible for shaping the vision, standards, and methodologies that govern the integration of WFP’s digital solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and the broader digital transformation roadmap. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and guide multidisciplinary teams across the organization. The incumbent will oversee the Integration Services Team, which is responsible for API Integrations, Custom Integrations, and AI Integrations, and will serve as the strategic and operational point of reference for the entire Integration Services practice.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Integration Services Lead will be responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision and roadmap for the Integration Services practice across the organization. This includes coordinating and supervising team members, establishing integration design principles, and liaising with various divisions to shape a trustworthy integration landscape. The Lead will also define the strategic roadmap for AI integration, provide guidance on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices, and ensure the adoption of integration principles across corporate services. Additionally, the Lead will collaborate in the design of the corporate API ecosystem, promote a cloud-native approach, oversee the cloud hosting landscape, and work with IT security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security to ensure compliance and security of integration points. The role also involves maintaining technical documentation, championing API-first principles, and delivering training and onboarding materials to enhance developer experience.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. They should have a minimum of 10 years of international professional experience in enterprise IT, with a strong focus on integration architecture, API management, and digital platform governance. At least 5 years of experience in a coordination or leadership capacity over multidisciplinary technical teams is required. Proven track record in defining and governing integration strategies, engaging stakeholders, and translating technical complexity into actionable guidance is essential. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in integration methodologies, API lifecycle management, and enterprise architecture practices, as well as experience with cloud environments and CI/CD principles.
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas may be advantageous but are not mandatory.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 10 years of international professional experience in enterprise IT, with a strong emphasis on integration architecture and API management. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and managing complex IT landscapes.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required for this position.
