Job Overview:
The ICT Officer (Corporate Solutions & AI) will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of the Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution and its integrations on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical background to ensure the governance and optimization of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) PaaS and IaaS, Oracle AI Data Platform, Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Oracle Fusion ERP. The officer will be responsible for maintaining high levels of performance, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, scalability, and cost efficiency. The role involves overseeing platform monitoring, operational continuity, and system health checks, as well as developing and improving architectural artifacts and OCI configurations. The ICT Officer will also manage user license consumption and provide recommendations for optimization, ensuring that the organization’s technological needs are met effectively. This position is integral to supporting IOM's strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives, particularly in the context of emerging technologies and organizational requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the ICT Officer include administering, optimizing, and supporting the governance of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, overseeing platform monitoring and operational continuity, and developing architectural artifacts. The officer will manage user license consumption, oversee the administration and lifecycle management of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM SaaS environments, and design infrastructure solutions for new and existing projects. Additionally, the ICT Officer will implement backup strategies, administer security and access governance activities, and provide advanced technical support for Oracle platforms. The role also involves contributing to strategic planning, enabling Oracle Fusion ERP AI capabilities, and collaborating with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-enabled process optimization. The officer will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, ensuring that all tasks align with IOM’s enterprise architecture standards and technology governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited academic institution, along with five years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a University degree in the aforementioned fields with seven years of relevant professional experience is acceptable. Certification in Oracle Cloud technologies is considered an advantage. The ideal candidate should have experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle ERP, and Oracle AI capabilities, as well as familiarity with Microsoft technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate activities involving internal resources and external consultants are essential for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering from an accredited institution. Candidates with a University degree in these fields must have additional years of relevant professional experience to qualify. Certification in Oracle Cloud technologies is a plus, indicating a deeper understanding of the systems and tools used in this role.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, either in a system administration role or as a platform administrator. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, as well as experience enabling Oracle Fusion AI capabilities. Familiarity with user management and IAM policies within OCI is also necessary. The ideal candidate should have first-hand experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle Cloud solutions, including major services related to Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, Compute, Storage, Networking, ATP Database, and Security.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required for this position. Additionally, working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is considered an advantage. The proficiency in required languages will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments to ensure candidates meet the necessary communication standards.
