Job Overview:
The Analyst Portfolio Manager position is crucial for the effective functioning of the EBRD's operations, particularly in the middle and back office functions that interface with Banking origination, portfolio teams, and Treasury front office. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of transactions, ensuring timely processing and settlement of Banking and Treasury transactions in global markets. The Analyst will be responsible for operational tasks, including disbursements and legal documentation changes post-signing. The position requires collaboration with various departments, including Treasury, Risk, and General Counsel, and involves client communication regarding banking matters. The Analyst will also support and train Assistant Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the operational processes of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst Portfolio Manager will execute operational processes across various activities in middle and back office support functions. Key responsibilities include documenting, booking, funding, and monitoring/reconciliation of the Bank's products, ensuring adherence to operational metrics such as timeliness, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Analyst will respond to operational queries, communicate risks to decision-makers, and provide training to Assistant Analysts. Additionally, the role involves maintaining service levels, supporting the improvement of operational standards, and collaborating with other teams to achieve operational outcomes. The Analyst will also play a role in stakeholder management, working with colleagues to manage backlogs and operational constraints effectively.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree or equivalent work experience, along with comprehensive banking, legal, or credit skills. A strong understanding of treasury and banking products transacted by EBRD is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong customer service orientation, with the ability to identify opportunities for improved customer outcomes. Experience with relevant systems such as Summit, Frameworks, Debt Domain, SAP, or Swift is advantageous. The candidate should also have experience in teams that utilize continuous improvement techniques and operational metrics to manage teams effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, and knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.

Educational Background:
A university degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in relevant areas may also be considered. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in banking, finance, and operational management.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a sufficient level of experience to handle the responsibilities associated with the role. This includes experience in banking operations, treasury functions, or related fields. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in teams that have successfully implemented continuous improvement initiatives and managed operational metrics effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of additional languages is considered beneficial and may enhance the candidate's profile.
