Duties and Responsibilities:

The consultant will recommend policy changes that facilitate better access to finance for aquaculture stakeholders. The consultant will also develop eligibility rules for each type of actor, create a financial access toolkit, and consult with various institutions to refine and finalize the product offerings. Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this consultancy position should possess a minimum of ten years of experience in microfinance, agricultural, rural, or development finance, particularly within the context of Bangladesh. A strong understanding of the finance sector, including knowledge of apex and development finance organizations such as PKSF, commercial banks, and the regulatory framework established by Bangladesh Bank, is essential. The consultant should have a proven track record of designing financial products that have been successfully adopted by institutions, with a focus on inclusive credit solutions for women and youth. The ability to simplify complex financial concepts into user-friendly tools for non-specialists is crucial. Experience in credit risk assessment, loan structuring, and financial product development for small and medium enterprises is highly desirable.
