Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is the completion of secondary education. A post-secondary certificate in a relevant field is preferred, which may include logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline. This educational background will provide the foundational knowledge necessary for effective warehouse operations and management.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least four years of relevant experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Languages:

- Establishing, verifying, and validating warehouse and transport documentation, managing confidential files and data related to warehouse operations, and generating timely reports on inventory movements.
- Conducting daily stock reconciliations and verifications at the end of the warehouse operations to comply with internal control requirements.
- Performing daily inspections and reporting on the quantity and quality of goods received, dispatched, and handled, identifying discrepancies and damages, investigating missing quantities, and recommending solutions for inventory losses.
- Implementing appropriate measures for the protection of food and non-food items to ensure quality control, following established procedures and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Monitoring the condition of the warehouse and goods, taking appropriate actions to optimize storage space and ensure compliance with WFP standards.
- Providing guidance and on-the-job training to warehouse staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Performing other duties as required by the supervisor.
