Job Overview:
The Fullstack Developer Consultant position is focused on implementing a set of high-priority enhancements for the Global Events Management System (GEMS) and the Management Information Database (MIND). The consultant will work on improving registration data quality, privacy, role/permission management, and on-site security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security controls. The role requires the development of various functionalities, including a consent workflow for online registration, a self-service data-deletion request system, and multi-language support for registration forms. The consultant will also be responsible for creating reports and ensuring data integrity within the system. This position is home-based and expected to last for three months, requiring collaboration with the Chief of the Events Unit and other technical leads to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: building a chaperone consent workflow into online registration, creating a self-service data-deletion request system, implementing on-site security measures for credential and badge management, developing AI-assisted quality checks for photos, and ensuring multi-language accessibility in registration forms. Additionally, the consultant will create various reports, manage event workflows, and ensure the integration of the Urban October events into the GEMS system. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development is required. Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and relational databases (e.g., MySQL/MSSQL) is essential. Experience with Git version control and implementing form validation, role-based access control, and reporting features in production web applications is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment are also important.

Educational Background:
The position requires a first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for the technical aspects of the role, including programming, database management, and web development.

Experience:
The consultant should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in full-stack web development. This experience should encompass a range of skills, including proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, as well as practical experience in developing and maintaining web applications. Languages:
Fluency in both oral and written English is mandatory for this position.
