Job Overview: The ERP Specialist (Finance & Projects and Programme Management) is a key member of the AIPS Management Section (AMS) within the Division of Information Technology at the IAEA. This role involves providing expert advice and technical support for the IAEA's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, known as the Agency-wide Information System for Programme Support (AIPS). The ERP Specialist will work closely with various business process owners to ensure that the ERP system meets the needs of the organization, particularly in the areas of finance and project management. The position requires a deep understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite or Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) modules, as well as the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement enhancements to the system. The ERP Specialist will also play a crucial role in supporting end users, documenting technical requirements, and contributing to training programs to facilitate effective use of the application.
Duties and Responsibilities: The ERP Specialist will be responsible for providing technical and functional application expertise to support end users in various areas, including finance (payables, receivables, treasury, cash management, general ledger, payments, and sub-ledger accounting), SWIFT interfaces, and project management. Key responsibilities include handling incidents and service requests, participating in ERP-specific projects or enhancements, maintaining the configuration of live ERP modules, actively participating in testing, documenting technical and functional requirements, and contributing to user support and training modules. The specialist will also be involved in supporting future ERP upgrades or cloud migration projects and will work closely with the Training Officer to design training programs for end users.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in information management, computer sciences, or a related field. An advanced university degree is considered an asset. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in designing, implementing, and providing post-go-live support for enterprise-scale solutions based on Oracle E-Business Suite R12, with a specialization in Oracle Finance modules or Oracle Projects and Programme Management. Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator and IPSAS accounting standards is highly desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are mandatory, and knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an asset.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's Degree in information management, computer sciences, or a related field. An advanced university degree would be advantageous, as it demonstrates a higher level of expertise and knowledge in the relevant fields. Candidates should have a solid foundation in information technology and management principles, particularly as they relate to enterprise resource planning systems and financial management.

Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional Notes: The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $71,335, subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance. Additional benefits include a variable post adjustment, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses, six weeks of annual leave, home leave travel, a pension plan, and health insurance.
