Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain SharePoint environments and document repositories to ensure organized and accessible finance knowledge.
Oversee policy registers and ensure that all financial policies are up-to-date and easily retrievable.
Coordinate key reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
Support management outputs by providing reliable financial information and insights.
Drive improvements in workflows through the implementation of automation and digital tools, enhancing efficiency in financial processes.
Promote good information management practices across the Finance Department.
Facilitate learning and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the department's capacity.
Contribute to internal communication efforts to ensure that all stakeholders have access to structured and reliable finance information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of financial information management practices.
Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding of financial information management and reporting processes.
Proficiency in managing SharePoint environments and document repositories.
Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, particularly in automating workflows and improving information accessibility.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate internal communication and knowledge sharing.
Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance financial information management practices.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information management, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in financial management or information systems would be advantageous.
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance management, information management, or a related field is required. Experience in managing SharePoint environments and using Microsoft 365 tools for financial reporting and information management is highly desirable.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly French or Spanish, would be considered a plus.
