Job Overview:
The INGO Forum Team Leader position is crucial for ensuring the continuity of humanitarian activities in Cameroon through the CHINGO platform, which is hosted by NRC Cameroon. The role involves overseeing compliance with various policies and guidelines, supporting the planning and implementation of activities aligned with CHINGO's strategic objectives, and contributing to the development of new initiatives and partnerships. The Team Leader will also be responsible for managing resources effectively, providing technical guidance to staff and partners, and promoting collaboration among stakeholders. This position requires a proactive approach to monitoring humanitarian developments and advocating for collective initiatives based on the needs and priorities of members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the INGO Forum Team Leader include coordinating the implementation of CHINGO's annual workplan, facilitating collaboration among members and key stakeholders, organizing coordination mechanisms such as meetings and consultations, and monitoring humanitarian developments. The Team Leader will represent CHINGO in various forums and engagements, coordinate the production of reports and communication materials, and manage workplans, budgets, and resources in accordance with established policies. Additionally, the Team Leader will undertake any other tasks as delegated by the Director, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the organization's objectives and standards.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the INGO Forum Team Leader position must possess a university degree in International Relations, Political Science, Project Management, Communication, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in humanitarian coordination, program management, advocacy, or related fields is required. Experience in coordinating with stakeholders in humanitarian contexts, drafting reports and advocacy materials, and managing activities and budgets is essential. A strong understanding of humanitarian principles and coordination systems is considered a bonus, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. Strong networking and representation skills are also necessary for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the INGO Forum Team Leader position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as International Relations, Political Science, Project Management, or Communication. This educational foundation is critical for understanding the complexities of humanitarian work and effectively managing projects and initiatives within the context of the CHINGO platform.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in roles such as humanitarian project management, advocacy, or coordination within a humanitarian context. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing activities, budgets, and workplans, as well as experience in stakeholder coordination and communication in humanitarian settings. Familiarity with the humanitarian architecture in Cameroon and the political situation is highly advantageous.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and French is mandatory for this position, as effective communication is essential for collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered a plus, enhancing the ability to engage with various communities and partners in the humanitarian sector.

Additional Notes:
The INGO Forum Team Leader position offers a six-month work contract that is renewable based on the availability of funds. The workplace is located in Yaoundé, with an expectation of 50% travel in the field to engage with various stakeholders and monitor activities. The salary and benefits are based on Grade 6 step 1 of the NRC Cameroon salary scale. The desired start date for this position is September 202
