Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Asistente Técnica o Técnico de Acceso Humanitario y Seguridad (HAS) include:
Supporting the implementation of the Global HAS Management System at the Country Office level.
Assisting in the preparation, updating, and completion of HAS plans and procedures.
Preparing documents and reports for the HAS Manager as needed.
Supporting the organization and execution of HAS training sessions.
Assisting in conducting Security Risks Assessments (SRAs) and access evaluations.
Understanding key HAS documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Mission Planning (SMP), and Emergency Response Plans (MERP).
Monitoring Travel Authorization Requests (TARs) and vehicle usage in compliance with Minimum Operating Standards (MOSs).
Identifying training needs and updating training trackers for HAS personnel.
Conducting field visits to understand project implementation sites and gather relevant information. 1
Collaborating in the preparation and delivery of HAS induction sessions for new staff and briefings for existing staff. 1
Updating the communication tree for the Country Office staff and conducting periodic tests to ensure effective activation during large-scale incidents. 1
Co-leading the process of gathering, verifying, and systematizing relevant information for HAS from public sources, primarily online, to enhance operational understanding and inform decision-making. 1
Providing requested assistance to achieve the objectives of the current HAS Operational Plan. 1
Promoting safeguarding principles within NRC and among the communities served. 1
Performing any other tasks related to HAS as delegated by the HAS Manager.

Previous experience working in complex contexts with an NGO.
