Job Overview: The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position involves working closely with the community manager, webmaster, and social media manager to enhance the visibility of Handicap International on social media and the web. The intern will be responsible for responding to inquiries from the Handicap International community in France across various platforms. This role includes identifying and engaging with communities and affinity groups related to the organization's activities, creating diverse content, and analyzing engagement metrics. The intern will also moderate discussions on social media, create varied content (text, visuals, videos, etc.) tailored to different digital channels, and schedule and publish content using the centralized tool Agorapulse. Additionally, the intern will contribute to monitoring activities, identification, benchmarking, and influencer marketing projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be tasked with the following duties:
Collaborate with the community manager, webmaster, and social media manager to enhance the organization's online presence.
Respond to community inquiries and moderate social media interactions.
Identify and animate communities and affinity groups related to Handicap International's activities.
Create engaging content across various formats (text, visuals, videos) suitable for different digital platforms.
Plan and publish content using Agorapulse.
Conduct monitoring and benchmarking activities.
Participate in influencer marketing projects.
Analyze engagement metrics and contribute to the development of dashboards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Experience in managing editorial lines in relation to communities.
Versatility and technical proficiency in digital tools.
Proficiency in using platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Campaign Manager LinkedIn, YouTube Studio, TikTok, and Agorapulse.
Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, XD, Premiere, etc.).
A proactive, autonomous, and responsive attitude, with the ability to take initiative.
Educational Background: The position requires candidates to be enrolled in a relevant educational program, such as communication, digital communication, visual communication, political science, or international relations. This educational background is essential for understanding the dynamics of digital communication and community engagement.
Experience: While specific prior experience may not be mandatory, candidates should demonstrate familiarity with digital communication practices and community management. Any relevant internships or projects that showcase skills in content creation and social media management will be advantageous.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory, as the primary communication will be in this language. Proficiency in English is also required, as some meetings will be conducted in English, making it essential for effective communication within the team.
Additional Notes: The internship is set to begin on September 7, 2026, and will last for 4 to 5 months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of €693 for a full-time internship, along with meal vouchers valued at €8.96 (60% covered by the employer, 40% by the intern) and a 50% contribution towards transportation costs. The workplace is accessible via public transport, with facilities for parking and bicycle storage. The work environment is designed to be inclusive, with ramps and elevators for better mobility.
