Job Description
Job Posting Organization:
Ashoka is an international non-profit organization that is apolitical and non-confessional, recognized as the world's first network of social entrepreneurs. Established 40 years ago, Ashoka focuses on identifying and supporting social entrepreneurs in over 93 countries, known as Ashoka Fellows. These social entrepreneurs work to fundamentally transform the systems that underpin our societies, including economic, political, educational, health, justice, food, and agricultural systems. They aim for large-scale change by altering mindsets, market logics, norms, or laws, co-creating solutions with their beneficiaries, scaling their models, or seeking to have their solutions adopted by public authorities.

Job Overview:
The role of the Assistant Chargée de Partenariats is primarily focused on two types of missions: supporting the director with development elements and assisting the partnerships team in coordinating concrete projects. This includes designing initiatives and organizing workshops. The position is integral to the Changemaker Companies team, which aims to embed a changemaker mentality and social innovation at the heart of businesses, encouraging them to contribute to building a better world beyond their CSR initiatives. The team consists of about ten members of various ages, located in France, Spain, the US, Switzerland, and Germany, all convinced that everyone can be a changemaker. The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, based in Paris.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Assistant include supporting the search for new partners (20% of the role), which involves updating partnership proposals and identifying foundations in the health sector. Additionally, the role includes advising on the implementation of a new pitch format. The majority of the responsibilities (80%) involve monitoring ongoing partnerships and projects, which includes researching and interviewing entrepreneurs, analyzing their projects to find synergies with the team and partners, and participating in the construction of workshops with partners. For example, this could involve creating a travel journal to accompany a day of immersion with social entrepreneurs or developing a workshop around innovations in plastic management. The role also includes helping to communicate the stories of changemakers in the business world, such as interviewing employees and entrepreneurs who have collaborated, and creatively showcasing impactful stories.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have at least a Bac+3 level of education, with a background in project management. Enthusiasm for Ashoka's mission and the impact of Ashoka Fellows is essential. A knowledge of the sector and an understanding of the challenges of entrepreneurship and social innovation is a plus. Experience in associations and internships in companies are also advantageous. Candidates should possess teamwork skills, a taste for collaborative work, strong listening and analytical abilities, organizational skills, and proactivity. Technical proficiency with computer tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva is required. Creativity and an interest in graphic subjects are also important, along with a strong command of English.

Educational Background:
A minimum educational background of Bac+3 is required, ideally in project management or a related field. This educational level ensures that candidates have the foundational knowledge necessary to engage with the complexities of social entrepreneurship and partnership development.

Experience:
Candidates should have some level of experience, ideally including involvement in associations and internships within corporate environments. This experience will help them understand the dynamics of partnership development and project coordination.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as the role involves communication with international partners and stakeholders. Additional language skills may be beneficial but are not specified as mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The position is based in the Climate House in Paris 2nd arrondissement, with partial remote work allowed. The remuneration for this internship is €770 gross per month. The internship period is expected to start in April or May 2025 and will last for 6 months. The recruitment process includes submitting a CV and answers to three specific questions, followed by a short screening call, a face-to-face interview, and a case study to assess proficiency with office tools and writing skills.
