Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the UNV position include:
  • Coordinating and consolidating Monthly Distribution Plans (MDPs) across various Field Offices to ensure a unified approach to food distribution.
  • Ensuring that the MDPs are aligned with the pipeline, operational capacity, and program priorities to maximize efficiency.
  • Verifying caseloads, tonnage, and transfer modalities in line with the Implementation and operational plans, collaborating with relevant units to ensure accuracy.
  • Supporting the quality review of Country Portfolio Needs and Implementation Plans to maintain high standards in operational execution.
  • Monitoring the commodity pipeline and flagging any supply risks that may affect the distribution of food assistance.
  • Supporting resource prioritization and pipeline scenario planning to effectively allocate resources where they are most needed.
  • Tracking MDP implementation against key operational indicators to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyzing performance gaps and following up on implementation delays to ensure timely delivery of assistance.
  • Preparing operational reports, dashboards, and management updates to keep stakeholders informed of progress and challenges.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the UNV position should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
