Job Overview:
The Regional Senior HR Business Partner (SHRBP) is a key HR professional who acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders, translating organizational priorities into effective people strategies. This role spans across five African offices, including Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, and South Africa, and is crucial in balancing strategic counsel with operational excellence to enhance the employee experience. The SHRBP is responsible for mentoring the Associate HRBP and collaborating closely with the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Regional HR Business Partnering (DD-RHRBP) and senior leadership to ensure that human capital strategies align with and accelerate business objectives. The position is based in Abuja, Nigeria, and reports to the DD-RHRBP based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SHRBP's responsibilities include driving a high-performance culture through effective performance management processes, overseeing talent management and succession planning, and supporting organizational transitions and change management. The SHRBP will lead performance review cycles, ensuring meaningful goal-setting and feedback, and will actively contribute to the Africa workforce talent plan, facilitating employee mobility and development opportunities. Additionally, the SHRBP will serve as a trusted advisor during organizational restructuring, managing employee relations, and ensuring fair and equitable compensation practices. The role also involves championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, advocating for employee perspectives, and managing relationships with outsourced HR service providers to maintain service quality and continuity.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field being strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of HR experience is required, including at least 4 years in HR Business Partner roles. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strategic HR leadership, possess advanced knowledge of talent management and succession planning, and have strong expertise in compensation and benefits administration. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills, and a deep understanding of employment law across multiple jurisdictions are essential. Proven capabilities in change management and organizational development, along with strong analytical thinking, coaching, and mentoring skills, are also necessary for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirements for this position include at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline being highly desirable. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of HR practices and strategies necessary for the role.

Experience:
