Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: assisting the JCS with strategic communication and public outreach; developing and designing communications and multimedia products for web and social media; drafting and editing publications such as fact sheets and newsletters; creating data visualizations and interactive content; researching and compiling information for social media content; monitoring and analyzing social media statistics and web analytics; and performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. The intern will also be expected to demonstrate competencies in communication, teamwork, and client orientation throughout their responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). While professional work experience is not required, a field of study closely related to the internship is necessary. Applicants should also possess good knowledge of standard software applications, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
Educational Background: Candidates must be students in the final year of their first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), or enrolled in or have completed a Master’s or Ph.D. program. Proof of enrollment or completion will be required during the application process. The educational background should ideally be in a field related to justice, law, political science, or international relations, as these areas are pertinent to the internship's focus.
