Volunteers will be required to attend the event virtually and participate in breakout rooms dedicated to specific case studies. Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Familiarize yourself with the assigned case-study prior to the event; 2) Attend the Virtual Side Event on July 10, 2026, from 17:00 to 21:00 CEST; 3) Actively listen to discussions in the assigned breakout room; 4) Take detailed and organized notes throughout the proceedings; 5) Identify and capture key points, decisions, recommendations, and outcomes from the discussions; 6) Draft a clear, accurate, and neutral summary/report after the event; 7) Submit the report to the AlterContacts team; 8) Engage with other volunteers to exchange ideas and improve the quality of the assignment; 9) Follow the guidance and templates provided by AlterContacts to ensure the authenticity of the content produced, as the use of generative AI is not permitted.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess strong listening and note-taking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to summarize discussions accurately. Familiarity with sustainability issues and the Sustainable Development Goals is preferred. Volunteers should be comfortable using Zoom for virtual meetings and have a reliable internet connection to participate in the event. Additionally, candidates should be able to work independently while also being open to collaboration with other volunteers.
