Duties and Responsibilities:
The Communications Assistant is responsible for a wide range of duties, including supporting the implementation of communications strategies and campaigns that raise awareness and drive engagement among target audiences. This involves creating country-specific promotional materials, assisting in the rollout of UNV’s communications strategies, and contributing to advocacy campaigns and key events. The incumbent will also draft original, audience-specific content for various platforms, collect multimedia content, and coordinate with the Regional Communications team to ensure consistent messaging. Additionally, the role includes supporting the country-level social media presence, tracking performance analytics, and contributing to joint communications and storytelling efforts with UN partners. The Communications Assistant will also provide operational support for communications activities, including organizing logistics for events, basic graphic design, and maintaining communications files for internal reporting.
