Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is designed for students who are motivated and ready to contribute their energy to a meaningful cause. The intern will work closely with the community manager, webmaster, and social media manager to enhance the visibility of Handicap International on social media and the web. The role involves responding to community inquiries on various platforms, identifying and engaging with communities related to the organization's activities, and creating content. Additionally, the intern will analyze engagement activities and participate in the development of dashboards to track performance. This position is crucial for increasing the organization's online presence and fostering community engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Respond to community inquiries and moderate interactions on social media platforms.
  • Create diverse content types, including text, video, and images, for digital channels.
  • Publish content across various platforms using a centralized tool (Agorapulse).
  • Contribute to activities related to community identification, monitoring, benchmarking, and marketing influence projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive communication strategies and effective community engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics and provide insights for improving engagement and outreach efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing the organization's digital presence.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should be enrolled in universities or schools specializing in communication, digital or visual communication, political science, or international relations. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to manage an editorial line in connection with communities. Candidates should demonstrate versatility and technical proficiency in digital tools. Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Campaign Manager LinkedIn, YouTube Studio, TikTok, and Agorapulse is required. Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, XD, Premiere, etc.) is also necessary. The ideal candidate should be rigorous, autonomous, responsive, and capable of taking initiatives. Proficiency in English is required as some meetings will be conducted in English.

Educational Background:
A background in communication, digital communication, visual communication, political science, or international relations is required. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a French educational institution that can provide an internship agreement.

Experience:
No specific prior experience is required, but familiarity with social media management and content creation is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to the dynamic environment of digital communication.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, and proficiency in English is also required due to the nature of the work and meetings. Additional languages may be beneficial but are not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
The internship is full-time, starting on September 7, 2026, and lasting for 4 to 5 months. Interns will receive a monthly stipend of €693 for a full-time internship, along with meal vouchers valued at €8.96 (60% covered by the employer, 40% by the intern) and a 50% contribution to transportation costs. The workplace is accessible via public transport, with facilities for parking and bicycle storage. The office environment is designed to be inclusive, with ramps and elevators for better mobility.
