Job Overview: The EmergencyAdviser position at NRC is a critical role aimed at managing and coordinating the implementation of strategic, multi-sector emergency projects from the coordination office in Colombia. Duties and Responsibilities: The Emergency Adviser will be responsible for the day-to-day management of NRC’s emergency response projects, which includes planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, budget management, and procurement. Key responsibilities include ensuring that projects remain within their planned scope and timeline, maintaining high technical quality, and standardizing processes across all geographic areas. The adviser will also support the development of project proposals, provide technical support to area managers and emergency focal points, and coordinate implementation among various area offices to ensure operational quality and consistency. Additionally, the adviser will work closely with grants and MEAL staff to ensure compliance with project cycle management processes, conduct regular project review meetings, and prepare high-quality reports for donors.
