Job Overview: The position of Construction Project Management Consulting Services is integral to the BRACE Project, which focuses on providing comprehensive project management support for climate-resilient upgrades to educational facilities in Tonga. The selected consulting firm will be responsible for overseeing all phases of the construction project, which includes conducting facility assessments, creating detailed designs, estimating costs, preparing tenders, and supervising construction activities. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for the Construction Project Management Consulting Services position include:
Conducting thorough assessments of existing educational facilities to determine necessary upgrades for climate resilience.
Developing detailed design plans that incorporate climate adaptation strategies.
Preparing accurate cost estimates for proposed construction projects.
Drafting and preparing tender documents for the construction work.
Overseeing the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant national regulations and Save the Children’s operational standards.
Implementing environmental and social safeguards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate or consulting firm must possess the following qualifications:

Familiarity with national construction regulations and standards in Tonga.
Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
