Job Overview: The Paramedic EmergencyNurse position is crucial for providing high-quality emergency and pre-hospital care within the MINURSO framework. The paramedic will be responsible for maintaining the health and well-being of MINURSO personnel, which includes conducting health assessments, participating in preventive health programs, and ensuring compliance with UN medical protocols. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Paramedic Emergency Nurse include participating in daily clinical operations of the mission's Medical Unit, performing clinical assessments of patients, delivering emergency pre-hospital care, providing advanced life support for critically ill patients, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, assisting in medical evacuations, conducting health assessments, and participating in training initiatives such as Basic Life Support (BLS). The paramedic must also ensure compliance with UN medical protocols, participate in emergency preparedness planning, and perform other duties as required by the Chief Medical Officer.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate expertise in emergency medical care, adherence to ethical standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
