Job Overview:
The Case Coordination Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing a team that provides direct client services within the Case Coordination Program. This position involves planning and implementing programming, coordinating service delivery, supervising staff, and ensuring that program goals are met. The supervisor is responsible for budgetary compliance and reporting for the assigned portfolio. The role requires a regular onsite presence in the office located in Phoenix, AZ, and entails guiding the implementation of the Case Coordination program to ensure timely completion of services. The supervisor will support staff in monitoring client progress, evaluating the effectiveness of care plans, and advocating for client needs to facilitate access to necessary resources and services. These resources may include employability services, family stability support, housing stability support, urgent healthcare services, legal services, and other public benefits for which clients may be eligible. The supervisor will also be responsible for assigning cases to caseworkers and ensuring that clients are enrolled in the program within two business days, as well as collaborating with other departments to encourage timely referrals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Case Coordination Supervisor has a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities that include guiding the implementation of the Case Coordination program, ensuring timely service delivery, and supporting staff in monitoring client progress. The supervisor will advocate for client needs and facilitate access to various resources and services. Responsibilities also include assigning cases to caseworkers, maintaining relationships with local government and community-based organizations, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and preparing for monitoring visits from IRC and other agencies. The supervisor will cultivate a respectful and inclusive environment for team members and clients, recruit and train staff, provide daily oversight of active caseloads, and represent the IRC in public and governmental forums as needed. Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Case Coordination Supervisor position must possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social work or a related field. A minimum of two to three years of experience in implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar programs is required. Experience in supervising, supporting, and training staff is strongly preferred, along with experience in program management and budget management. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, possess excellent time management skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are essential, and proficiency in a language spoken by client populations is a plus. A valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle with current insurance are also required, as the role involves regular travel throughout the service delivery area.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of social services and effectively managing case coordination programs.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two to three years of relevant experience, particularly in implementing domestic refugee resettlement or similar programs. Experience in supervising and training staff is strongly preferred, as well as experience in program management and budget oversight. Candidates should have a proven track record of working effectively in a team-oriented environment and managing client services.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English, with excellent written and oral communication skills required. Proficiency in additional languages spoken by client populations is considered a plus and can enhance the ability to serve diverse clients effectively.

The compensation for this position is set at a pay rate of $63,296.10, with ranges based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
