The Associate will assist in executing targeted acquisition campaigns, which involves conducting market research, supporting lead generation, and coordinating with external agencies. Duties and Responsibilities: The Fundraising Associate (Acquisition) will be responsible for a variety of key functions, including:
Supporting the development and execution of donor acquisition strategies that align with UNICEF's mission.
Planning and executing donor acquisition campaigns to effectively engage potential donors.
Implementing testing plans to gather insights and optimize campaigns.
Monitoring campaign performance to evaluate the effectiveness of acquisition strategies against established KPIs and targets.
Tracking campaign budgets, including media expenditures.
Conducting research to identify potential target audiences to expand UNICEF's donor base.
Facilitating collaboration across teams to align donor acquisition efforts with broader marketing strategies.
Managing relationships and projects with external agencies, including creative and fundraising agencies.
Supporting the development of investment plans and business cases as required.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of six years of relevant work experience in supporting marketing campaigns, fundraising, or sales activities with financial targets. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for three years of experience, while a master’s degree may replace an additional two years. Experience in campaign execution and logistics, including timelines, deliverables, and vendor coordination, is essential. Familiarity with A/B testing and performance optimization for fundraising or sales campaigns is also required.
Educational Background: Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable and can significantly enhance a candidate's profile.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of six years of relevant experience in marketing, fundraising, or sales, particularly in roles that involve financial targets. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree may have three years of experience waived, and those with a master’s degree may have an additional two years waived, making it essential for applicants to have a strong background in campaign execution and logistics.
Languages: Fluency in Thai and English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of another official UN language such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's application.
