Job Overview:
The primary mission of the Ethics and Internal Audit service is to provide assurance to management on how the organization protects itself from assessed risks by establishing a thoughtful, effective, and formalized system of activity control. This service formulates recommendations to enhance effectiveness and is supported by a wide range of expertise and responsibilities, guaranteed by the service's independence. The service also ensures the ethical guidelines of the organization and manages professional alert mechanisms. The intern will work under the hierarchical responsibility of the structure's Abuse Prevention Officer and will participate in ongoing projects led by the service teams, including the revision of internal standards and tools dedicated to the prevention and handling of reports of abusive behaviors such as fraud, corruption, conflicts of interest, human rights violations, and gender-based violence. The intern may also assist in organizing events, training sessions, briefings, and may be required to lead internal communication actions. Additionally, the intern will manage sensitive data, including recording, tracking, and analyzing through an interactive database, support the monitoring of reports of abusive behaviors, participate in occasional control and verification activities, and contribute to the dissemination of procedures and tools from other service areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's duties will include participating in ongoing projects related to the revision of internal standards and tools for preventing and addressing reports of abusive behaviors, assisting in the organization of events and training sessions, managing sensitive data through an interactive database, supporting the monitoring of reports of abusive behaviors, participating in occasional control and verification activities, establishing reports, and contributing to the animation of the community of practice for field focal points on the prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH). The intern will also participate in ad-hoc activities related to the dissemination of procedures and tools from other service areas.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a strong writing ability in both French and English, with advanced skills in writing and synthesis. A genuine interest in ethical issues and compliance is essential, along with the ability to conduct legal monitoring related to gender-based violence and sectoral issues. The intern should possess skills in layout, graphic design, and visual creation, as well as a sensitivity to quality approaches in program implementation. The tasks are transversal and sensitive, necessitating autonomy, rigor, and versatility.

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a higher education background in international relations and solidarity or any relevant training that meets the required competencies, such as internal audit or law.

Experience:
The position is suitable for candidates who are either in the early stages of their career or seeking to gain practical experience in the humanitarian sector. Previous experience in similar roles or internships is advantageous but not mandatory.

Languages:
Fluency in both French and English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.

Additional Notes:
This internship is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The internship requires a formal internship agreement. The compensation is set at €5.60 per hour, calculated based on actual hours worked each month (approximately 154 hours per month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs are covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day of actual internship work are provided, with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL contributing 60%.
