The intern will work under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer and will be involved in various administrative and financial tasks that support the operations of the Secretariat. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's responsibilities will include assisting in the compilation, verification, and review of data and supporting documentation for financial and administrative reports. They will extract and analyze data from the UN Enterprise Resource Planning system (Umoja), prepare Terms of Reference for operational needs, and support the preparation of meetings and training materials. The intern will also help with the migration and organization of files to the SharePoint platform, support year-end closure exercises, update internal workflows, and assist with inventory management. Additionally, they will review and dispose of obsolete files in accordance with UN guidelines and perform other related administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information or Data Management, Management, Operations, or related fields. Candidates should possess good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis, and have the ability to organize and present data clearly. Familiarity with administrative and financial processes is desirable, and experience with data cleanup or inventory tracking is an asset.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes being a student in the final year of a first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), or being enrolled in or having completed a Master’s or Ph.D. program. The preferred areas of study are those closely related to the internship's focus, such as Business Administration, Finance, or Data Management. Applicants must provide proof of their academic status and may need to submit an official certificate later in the application process.

Experience:
