Job Overview: The Analyst position within the Funds Team at EBRD is a critical role that involves managing investments in funds, particularly in private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure. The Analyst will work closely with the Operation Leader and senior transaction team members to ensure the successful execution of investment activities. This includes preparing internal approval documentation, conducting due diligence, and monitoring fund performance post-investment. Duties and Responsibilities: The Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the supervision of the Operation Leader, including:
Investment Activity: Collaborating with team members on new fund investments, preparing drafts of internal approval documents, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
Portfolio Monitoring and Management: Assisting in the review of reports from fund managers, monitoring fund performance, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
Documentation: Maintaining electronic files related to fund investments and preparing draft approval documentation for waiver requests.
Ad-hoc Tasks: Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Operation Leader or senior team members, contributing to the overall success of the investment process.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree combined with relevant professional experience. Additional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable. The role requires developed analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to draft well-structured documents in professional business English. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within a multi-national team and with external stakeholders.
