Job Overview:
The intern will work under the supervision of the Adviser to the Managing Director of the Policy and Partnerships Division (PSD) and will closely collaborate with the PSD Front Office. The primary function of this role is to support the smooth functioning of the Front Office by performing data management and analytical tasks. This includes analyzing and tracking policy engagement across the EBRD, enhancing the systemic impact of policy advisory and technical cooperation activities, and integrating policy engagement with transactions. The intern will also assist in operational matters related to strategic technical cooperation and policy advisory activities, conduct ad-hoc research and analysis, and contribute to high-level strategic documents. The role involves supporting project design, managing external consultants, and engaging in policy activities through data analysis and background research. The intern will also assist economists and specialists in their relationships with various teams during all stages of sector and project work, from design to post-signing monitoring.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's duties will include performing data management and analytical tasks related to policy engagement, supporting operational matters related to strategic technical cooperation and policy advisory activities, conducting ad-hoc research and analysis, and assisting in the design and management of projects. The intern will compile and maintain relevant datasets, draft terms of reference (ToRs), and support the organization of conferences and workshops. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for drafting communication products, conducting background research on specific clients or sectors, and analyzing regulatory and policy developments. The intern will report to the Principal of the Sustainable Infrastructure Group (SIG) and will not have budget responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must demonstrate proven organizational and analytical skills, the ability to multitask, and lead projects under guidance. A good understanding of economics, policy, and financial investments, particularly in the EBRD region, is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, along with strong quantitative and numerical skills. Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, MS List, PowerPoint, and web content management systems, are necessary. A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are also important for this role.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in economics, international development, finance, or another relevant discipline is required for this internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position. Experience:
