Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with literature on gender equality, women’s empowerment, climate change adaptation, adaptation metrics, food systems, and nutrition. A proven track record of producing high-quality publications is essential, along with experience in developing conceptual frameworks, guidance products, and tools that emphasize gender equality and inclusion. The consultant should possess strong analytical and communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and findings to diverse audiences.

Candidates should have a history of working on similar projects, demonstrating their ability to navigate complex issues and deliver impactful results. Experience in piloting tools and frameworks in real-world settings will be particularly valuable.

Languages:
While the job description does not specify mandatory languages, proficiency in English is likely essential for communication and documentation purposes. Additional language skills relevant to the local context in Kenya may be advantageous but are not explicitly required.
